Glyndwr Bach Reviews

Had such an amazing time at Glyndwr Bach. We only saw one of the hosts, but he was so kind and accommodating. The place was clean and cosy, we especially loved the under floor heating on the ground floor. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, please be mindful kitchen doesn't have an oven but you could always bring a small airfryer there is space on work surface. We looked up microwave instructions online and it does have cooking functions. Glyndwr Bach was very clean only thing we noticed was some slight moldstaining in bathroom fan but otherwise very clean. The area is lovely we enjoyed walking into Betwsycoed in the evenings for dinner and we went on several walks around the surrounding area which are well maintained. A short drive to Yr Wyddfa, location is really perfect. It's worth stocking up on essentials before you arrive as local SparLondis are expensive and fairly limited as only small shops. We went to an Aldi on the A38 about 55 minutes away on the way in. We are so sorry about the dragon and for taking awhile to review.
Perfect little getaway property.
Christopher
Loved the place spiral staircase and hot tub had it for me when we booked but when we got to the place the accommodation was beautiful as for the village cosy wee shops places to eat and for it's Ace in the hole beautiful scenic surroundings with waterfall rapids you can see below from a bridge that crosses into the village. As for the couple of this fine property extremely helpful filled hot tub every day and if ever was needing help with property or advice on things to do locally someone was always there Would definitely come back again than you.
Lovely little cottage in a fantastic location. Just about big enough for two of us and our hiking gear. 10 minute walk into BetwsyCoed with great shops, pubs and restaurants. 10 minute drive to the Mountains. Perfect for a weekend in the hills.
Lovely place, very clean, had everything we needed. Near pubs and restaurants for the evenings. Would recommend.
We found this the perfect location for us not too far from places we wanted to visit and Betwsy d coed is a beautiful little village with some lovely eateries. Wales is quite expensive for eating out but its choice as you can eat in if you want to cook your own food. A really nice touch with the welcome hamper left for us. My partner is 6 foot tall and banged his quite often on the bedroom ceiling and staircase so be careful. It gave me a few laughs. We loved the hot tub but it can be a problem with midges around the water. My partner got bitten really badly and looked like he had measles. Would be a good idea to tell guests to bring insect repellent or even provide this. The bed was very noisy when turning over in the night due to loose bolts at the bottom. And the bathroom door was very squeeky which could do with sorting. Could do with another toilet roll leaving as two for a week isn't really enough. However these minor things would not stop us staying again, they are just an honest review of our time here. Lovely place thankyou Lucy and Gari
Elizabeth
Lovely stay, lovely setting, lovey little touch with the welcome basket. The property is cosy but was ideal size for our few days away and a great location for the beautiful village of betws y coed. Comfy and clean, we do prefer a bigger bed but it was comfy enough. Plus the hot tub is a bonus and helped the muscles in between hikes. Facilities are good, only thing to suggest would be a shelf in the bathroom for wash bags and a hairdryer.
Olivia
The place is very clean and comfortable and provided a very homely feel during our stay.

We had such an amazing stay at the cottage! !! We didnt get to meet the owners but also it was nice that we didnt really speak to many people as busy parents just needed a break! Beautiful accommodation and the hot tub was an added bonus after the mountain climb! Food places we found were all delicious and really would love to come back with our children at some point, if only this accommodation had a second bedroom! Thanks so much for our retreat
Excellent stay at a gorgeous property. Thank you.
We absolutely loved the property it was so clean and smart, its set in such a great place with easy access to the mountain ranges and Betys y Coed centre a short walk away. Its the first time my wife and me have been away together in over 13 years so having such a great place to stay was the icing on the cake. We will be back as soon as we can get the time and this time for longer. Huge praise to the owners for creating such a great holiday let.

Amazing place to stay. It is beautifully presented, the building and the furnishings are top notch and everything was extremely clean and tidy. The hosts were absolutely lovely, very friendly and helpful and although they live next door full privacy was maintained during our visit.
