For Families
Children love the dedicated games room with pool table and table tennis. The outdoor play area features a trampoline and climbing frame that entertained kids aged 2 to 13. The hot tub proved popular with younger guests. The well-maintained private garden provides safe space for outdoor play. Talacre Beach sits just 8 minutes away for sandcastle building and coastal walks.
For Couples
This property isn't ideal for couples as it's designed for large groups of up to 17 people. The scale and facilities target multi-generational families rather than romantic getaways. Arosfa Reviews

Thomas
We stopped for my dads 60th birthday, just wanna start off by saying how peaceful and quiet Axton is where the house is situated. Communication was excellent by Lynda before we arrived, she even let us check in early so we could set up our surprise weekend. The house has a big drive for plenty of vehicles and even a charge point for EVs. This house has the wow factor, plenty of space for our group of 14. The spacious Kitchen has everything you need from cooking to ample cupboards to playing music as theres a bluetooth speaker in the kitchen and the games room which was excellent. Games room had a pool table and ping pong table, with a tv which we signed into to watch all the footy on as we played together that was great for us men. All the bedrooms are comfortable, some have a lovely view of the sea, just to add too the house is well thought out in positioning of toilets to bedrooms too! Sometimes this is a problem staying away but not with this house. The living room has so much character with the fire on, beams to ceiling, big tv, it was very comfortable and cozy for a film night. We all tried out the hot tub too, something so nice being in a hot tub when its cold outside, this house had everything and we couldnt fault it, we would deffo book again. Thanks again Lynda you have a special house.
Andrew
Amazing week away, lovely communal open plan space in the middle of the house, large games room to keep the kids busy, 5 bathrooms, 2 ovens, 2 dishwashers hot tub & garden area. It was everything we needed for our group of families to have a lovely time over New Year. With bowling nearby, plus waterfall walks & good routes for runningcycling, we had a relaxed but active week, which was our best yet as a group. Thank you so much!
Catherine
We have just returned from 3 nights at Arosfa. Wow what a house! 13 ladies and everyone of us loved it. We couldnt pick a fault. The house was spotless. The hot tub was an added bonus on the cold wet nights. We definitely recommend you to try it for yourselves and are looking to return one day. It would be so beautiful in the summer. So glad we chose this house for our annual ladies chill weekend before Christmas. The 3 ladies who couldnt make it are gutted. Thank you for letting us book this property we wont forget it
We have just got back from a fantastic weekend break here with family and friends. Arosfa was the perfect venue for our celebration. The games room was great for the kids playing ping pong and pool. Hot tub great for us girls, kitchen well stocked with pots pans, glasses etc. plenty of fridge and freezer space. Bedrooms and bathrooms lovely and clean and well looked after and plenty of space for everyone. Its nice that the bedrooms are on either side of the communal areas so if you want an early night you cant hear the people staying up. Definitely love to stay again and a 1010 for Arosfa.
Our family, spanning four generations, enjoyed a truly wonderful week away at Arosfa Lodge during the October half term. The lodge was the perfect retreat for our group, providing a comfortable and welcoming environment Arosfa Lodge was well laid out and thoughtfully equipped. The spacious, wellstocked kitchen made meal preparation for our large family both easy and enjoyable, with everything we needed conveniently at hand. The lodges familyfriendly design ensured that everyone felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The games room proved to be a particular highlight, delighting both the younger and older members of the family. Equally popular were the outdoor play area and the hot tub, which offered relaxation and fun regardless of the weather. The snug provided a cosy chillout zone, perfect for winding down after a busy day of activities. Each bedroom was individually decorated in its own unique theme, adding a charming and personal touch to our stay. The owners handbook and the clear, helpful notices around the lodge made it easy to settle in and make the most of all the amenities. Dean and Linda, the owners, were incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our stay. Their communication was always prompt and clear, and they were more than happy to answer any queries we had. Their friendly approach made our visit even more enjoyable and stressfree. We would wholeheartedly recommend Arosfa Lodge to anyone considering a group getaway, whether with friends or family. Its an ideal destination for making memories together, and we will certainly be recommending it to others interested in a relaxing and enjoyable break.
What an amazing place! I stayed here with my family for my 50th birthday and we cant praise this place enough! We didnt want to leave. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful house. We are already planning to come back.
Stunning property had the wow factor when we walked in. Very well equipped, Children loved the garden. Very spacious. Games room was well used by all ages. Hot tub was great Only thing I would suggest is the steps on the patio should have something on them and the ones down to the lounge just to highlight them. We all had a great time thank you
Excellent, well kept property. Perfect for our large family weekend that was enjoyed by all. Thank you
Victoria
Just returned from an amazing week at Arosfa Lodge. The property is extremely spacious and perfectly catered for our group of 13 including 3 children. We really enjoyed making use of the outdoor space with the hot tub and bbq and having both a games room and separate sitting room worked well for such a big group. We hope to return again.
Angela
Really lovely house for a family weekend away. The sociable layout meant that we could all enjoy time together or escape to the cozy lounge for a little bit of quiet time. The bedrooms were all lovely and bathrooms modern with fantastic showers. The hot tub and games room were a hit, and also loved being able to see the sea from the front of the house. We will definitely be back!
Another fantastic stay at arosfa
Lynda property manager and Dean were great, very responsive and accommodating.
Beautiful, clean and in a lovely location. The facilities on offer were excellent and we enjoyed playing pool and table tennis especially. The open plan kitchen, dining and living area is a great sociable space. The beds were very comfortable and we had a very memorable, happy stay. The only thing that was missing from our point of view was a teapot as we are big tea drinkers.
This house is absolutely beautiful and the photos dont do it justice. Its spotlessly clean, beautifully presented and each bedroom has its own unique decor. The games room and hot tub were fantastic as well as the play frame and trampoline in the garden keeping all the kids aged 2 13 happy all weekend. Dont hesitate to book this house you will love it.
Andrew
We had a lovely stay. The owners made out time there extra special and even left us a bottle of bubbly on arrival. The Christmas decorations were a lovely touch and there was so much space. We will definitely be back!
Stephanie
We have been doing an annual cottage holiday for over 20 years now and this is one of our absolute favourites. It is huge perfect for a mix of families and ages. The large open plan kitchen dining lounge is perfect for everyone to be together but then the games room and snug are ideal to spread out. It is so well equipped and has everything you could need. The decor is beautiful stylish, cosy and high quality. The photos don't do it justice. The whole place was decorated for Christmas which was lovely the snug especially was beautiful and was so cosy and welcoming with the log fire, twinkling lights and Christmas tree. Communication with the owners was great. We received welcome texts and regular checkins as we were there during storm Darragh which was bad along the north Welsh coast. We had a fabulous time and loved it there. Thank you.
Would have preferred to be asked about wanting Halloween decoration as we were ... Would have preferred to be asked about wanting Halloween decoration as we were gathering for a different celebration The hover could have done with emptying beforehand Sofas low for elderly But great stay nonetheless this is only being picky not much to fault

An amazing property with lovely furnishings and amenities. The property has ample rooms and space for everyone to sit and chill out. The hot tub is a great bonus and loved by everyone. The house has lovely views to the sea from the front. Its in a lovely rural area, so peaceful and quiet. The owners are very quick to help out with anything if needed.
Our second time as a family at Arosfa and this time was just as good as the first. All the indoor and outdoor facilities you could realistically want as a multigenerational family and the house itself is ideally located to explore the North Wales coast. Would definitely consider going again.
The house was beautiful it was so roomy a great place for large gathings. It was, a family celebration all 6 grandchildren enjoyed the hot tub and the games room. My sons and daughter in laws had great fun in the hot tub as well. The kitchen was well equipped the down side was the road getting there but my son did speak to the owner as his car was very low but other than that we had a fantastic time
Christine
We all enjoyed a week's holiday in Wales, Arosfa is a beautiful cosy home set in a picturesque part of North Wales with lots of interesting places to visit, the pool table and table tennis were an added bonus on wet days, the garden was well kept and private, if l had to mention a tiny fault it would be the short driveway to the house had a good few pot holes that had to be avoided, but then again the driveway was shared with other home owners.
Had a fantastic stay here only issue for us my elderly mum came with us ground ... Had a fantastic stay here only issue for us my elderly mum came with us ground floor bedroom there were a couple of steps but we managed however no grab rail in bathroom so she couldnt get herself off the toilet I am aware the house doesnt advertise as disabled friendly but just a heads up it didnt take away from the fantastic time we had here
AROSFA was an excellent choice for our annual family get together . 8 adults 3 young children and a dog. The spacious and versatile accommodation was ideal for all generations. The facilities for cooking washing etc were ideal. A great time was had by all. Thoroughly recommend !!

Just had a lovely stay here. . apart from the weather which was out of there hands it was absolutely perfect kitchen great and really well equipped wanted for nothing. Dining table took all 17 of us easily.Games room superband the cosy front living room with a view is unforgettable. All the bedrooms and bathrooms and so nicely done. The house is big enough to get lost and have quiet moments away from noisier members of the family whenif required . The garden is lovely, child and pet friendly. And the owners are very quick, helpful & accommodating answering all my questions before arrival. Would certainly recommend and would love to revisit.
Claire
Stunning cottage in a beautiful location. The pictures really dont do it justice. Its so tastefully furnished and even had little touches around Halloween as we were there at the end of Oct. Great for walks and going to the beaches and so much to do in the cottage with a games room and an open plan kitchen diner for games nights. We had a wonderful time there
We had a fantastic week at Arosfa in June. Everyone loved the games room !!!! The kitchen had plenty of equipment for a large group of people. All the bedrooms and bathrooms were spotlessly clean. We had no complaints of how comfortable the bed's were
Rachael
This house is absolutely great for a large gathering, the set up allows for a central point for everyone to eat and spend time together in the open plan kitchen and dining area, with plenty of space to retreat to if you need time to yourself. Ample off road parking. Bedrooms all comfortable and plenty of bathrooms. The front rooms enjoy a lovely view of the sea. The trampoline, climbing frame and games room were a hit with the kids while the adults enjoyed hot tub time and a glass of wine around the fire pit of an evening. Lots of fun day trips within 30 min drive eg Conwy, Prestatyn, Talacre beach. The owner is friendly and communicative. Fab time had by all, thank you!
Elizabeth
Arosfa Lodge proved to be an excellent choice for accommodating our large family group comprising ages from 2 to 70. The games room and outdoor play facilities were, in particular, a huge hit. Future guests should perhaps be mindful that the two bedrooms in the attic have restricted headroom with sloping ceilings and a steep staircase not really suitable for the very tall, very young or those with limited mobility, especially since their nearest bathroom is on the floor below.
Fantastic stay here the owners had thought about everything that a large group might need and the house was fully equipped and comfortable. The games room and hot tub were a huge hit. Beautiful house in a nice area. All guests said that they'd happily come back every year for the family trip. Thank you!
Robert
Lovely place to stay. As per previous review, there isnt a gym. There is a great playroom and an outside play area. The bin needed batteries we didnt get round to it. You offered only one high chair so we brought another. Selling yourself short there were two available. We bought a mattress for the cot not very comfortable otherwise. Why not include a picture of the seaside view it is lovely. I understand the need for all the warning signs with subsequent charges but it does lower the tone somewhat. Yes it is a lot of money but it is an amazing place to bring all the family together. Thank you.
What a beautiful house in a beautiful setting, the owners were friendly and did ... What a beautiful house in a beautiful setting, the owners were friendly and did there best to get things right, we had the most amazing time thank you As a suggestion the main bedroom down stair mattress could do with a update, the bifold doors couldn't open i know you tried to get this fixed on our visit but they were unable to, also BBQ there wasn't any gas and it definitely hadn't been cleaned prior to our visit but we managed with the very well stocked kitchen and appliances
Barbara
Beautiful house, lovely view, garden well maintained. The house was extremely well equipped, the children loved the games room, and hot tub.
We had a wonderful time, the owner and manager gave great communication and you can tell no expense has been spared at the property, it has everything you need for a family weekend and the hot tub was fantastic we would love to return.
We had the best time in the cottage. The cottage was even better than the pictures show I would recommend this to everyone. The snow was an added bonus
Amanda
