Kerry Cottage, Talacre

A lovely modern house in a great location for walking to the beach at Talacre. Theh dogs loved their walks here. The humans loved having the bakery in the village and the chip shop at the caravan park just a short walk away. The hot tub was popular too, and the air fryer was a very welcome addition too.

An idyllic, quiet, comfortable, welcoming cottage with an inviting hot tub magically maintained if needed! !

Lovely house with everything you needed. Would definitely stay again. The house is spacious, airy and well maintained. The only thing that could have topped it off would have been a bbq in the garden. Really enjoyed our stay

Absolutely beautiful property. Very spacious and relaxing. Ideal location as it's close to everything. It's in a peaceful road which backs onto a trail walk and the sand dunes. We absolutely loved our stay and the dogs seemed relax and comfortable in the property. Excellent communication with the owners who were on hand if there were any issues. We loved the place that much we will be back again in September. Thank you again for such an amazing property to holiday in.

We had a lovely stay at Kerry Cottage! The house was lovely and warm, and is beautiful inside. Can fit 23 cars on the drive. The kitchen is perfect for cooking and hosting, theres plenty of space and the bedrooms are a decent size. Its nice that theres two bathrooms. You can have a bath or shower. Theres also shampoo and conditioner provided. Note the water does seem to go cold quickly, so we had to leave some time inbetween us showering to make sure we had hot water. Theres a TV in 3 of the bedrooms and lots of wardrobedrawer space. Plus the main TV in the living room. It is a 5 minute walk to the beach, an arcade for the children, a couple of shops and a barrestaurant. Less than 10 minute drive from Prestatyn, where you have bigger shops, lots of coffee shops, restaurants and pubs. Would highly recommend Kerry Cottage.

Excellent looking property with great family space. The only let down for us was the shower. Water went from cool to scolding with tiny adjustments such so we didnt let the kids use it, also the door was difficult to open and probably needs replacing. That being the only downside as the rest of the property was really well thought out and a well equipped kitchen was so helpful.

An immense property. Mod cons galore. Upstairs bedroom with balcony is simply gorgeous. Plush carpets and lovely bathrooms. Huge amount of cupboard space. Great garden, nice and secure for dogs. Lovely quiet neighbourhood. Perfectly situated for beach and dunes. Absolutely recommend this property. Only a couple of niggles if I'm being picky. Instruction booklet for appliances, heating, etc including local information and recommendations would be useful and also feels welcoming. Perhaps even a welcome basket which most properties now provide. Dish cloth, wooden spoon, another couple of pans perhaps. Cushions on sofa, but all in all a wonderful place.

Very modern, clean & comfortable house. Hot tub was great for all ages. Very good garden for the dogs & the beach was beautiful, especially at sunset. No information pack provided by owners apart from a few outdated leaflets & no welcome pack on arrival Could do with a new mattress downstairs on the double bed, need a new peeler & the hob would not work with the biggest pan. Otherwise well equipped. Talacre & the towns around were a little run down & attractions were closed as soon as the school holidays were over . Llandudno & Conwy are very nice & not too far away. Lovely beach at Prestatyn.

The property was absolutely lovely, a proper home from home. With 8 of us and 2 dogs there was always enough space without feeling crowded and all the facilities were modern and appreciated. Ideally situated for a mooch along the lovely beach or heading further into Wales, wed have no hesitation in coming back and recommending to family and friends.

Fabulous modern clean comfortable cottage on a quiet road overlooking sand dunes. The best bed Ive slept in away from home. Soft linen, plenty of towels. Hot tub maintained daily. Plenty of loo roll, kitchen roll, bin bags, dishwasher tablets and cleaning products. Large smart TV with a reclining sofa all in all fantastic. Only negative would be some no larger bowls or egg cups in the kitchen

We had to wash all of the cutlery, glasses and Chinaware before we can used them,

We would recommend Kerry Cottage without hesitation. Location was ideal close to facilities including pub bakery etc and within a few minutes of the beach which was amazing beautiful and particulary quiet. The cottage was exactly as described couldn't ask for more, hot tub was a nice bonus along with a large dog friendly garden.

Lovely modern cottage very close to the beach. Cottage well equipt with everything you would need and very clean. Located in a small seaside village close to large caravan hoilday park. Peaceful and relaxing. Enclosed safe garden for the dog. Hot tub was great to have and it was regulary serviced by the owners. Within walking distance is a bakery with a very good standard of bakery produce. Two pubs close by which during our stay only serves food on a weekend, so did not get to try these out. Nice fish and chip shop on the neighbouring caravan park. Loved the lighthouse on the large beach.

You could not fault the cottage, everything perfect, we had a fabulous time, really close to the beach and sand dunes, lovely walks, would recommend anyone to book here.

We were delighted with Kerry Cottage it was so modern clean and bright. The facilities were very good and the lay out of the rooms suited our family needs perfectly. We had a couple of things to ask the owner during our stay and these were answered promptly and quickly sorted. We certainly recommend this property for a short break especially with friends or family Talacre is a little haven with two pubs a bakery and fabulous beach and walks just what we needed for a new year break.

Great property for all the family! It was like being home from home and had everything we needed to have a great Christmas dinner, Great location and a short walk to the beach! We all loved it especially the dogs! Hot tub was great as well! Only thing I would suggest is a gazebo type thing over the hot tub. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone!

Beautifully presented modern cottage with all amenities required. A stones throw from the beach. Great communication with the owners who were very quick to reply when we couldnt find the cutlery it is a hidden draw under the hob. Good WiFi with handy QR code that logs you straight in, Netflix etc. hot tub that was on clean and working perfectly for us on arrival. Secure garden for dogs. If I had any reservations there are none with the accommodation it would be about places to eat. There is a friendly pub very close by with simple but well prepared food. There are takeaways but we didnt use them. There may have been limited menus due to being out of season Oct. If you want anything more you need to drive to them.

Kerry Cottage was a lovely property, it was extremely clean and spacious, with a great sized garden for kids, great proximity to the beach.

Property owner was polite and friendly, providing help when requested. Property was comfortable and modern, with a secure garden for the dogs. The property was a half mile walk from a beach that was sandy and great for dog walks as the dogs could be let off the lead. All activities we wanted to do were a max of 1 hour awaygreat location.

Everything was absolutely perfect. Great communication with the owner before we arrived during the week and before check out.

I booked this as a mini break for a family of 9 and it was perfect, very spacious comfortable practical and modern. We all had such a lovely few days and would love to book again soon hopefully

The property was amazing couldnt fault it at all. We really enjoyed walks to the beach.. days out to Llandudno knowing we could come back relax in a very comfortable, modern home.. The only one issue we had was they could have prewarned us about the work being done next door.

We recently enjoyed a fantastic 3week stay at Kerry Cottage in Talacre with our 3. 5 year old son and 2 small dogs. As someone who needed to work during my stay, I was delighted to find that the WiFi was excellent the QR code to connect quickly is a brilliant idea! I was able get my work done without any issues. Being just a stone's throw away from the beach was a real highlight for us. We loved taking our son and dogs for long walks along the sand dunes and watching the tide come in after I finished work. The garden was secure, which gave us peace of mind when our dogs were outside. We also enjoyed collecting pebbles on the beach and exploring the surrounding area. The beds were comfortable too, ensuring that we all got a great night's sleep. Despite being opposite a caravan park, we were pleasantly surprised at how peaceful and quiet the area was. Lorna, the host, was super helpful and nothing was too much trouble for her. We really appreciated the dog treats and bottle of wine! Having a dryer was a great addition, although with the glorious weather we didn't need it and used the clothes line provided. We also loved the local bakery, icecream shop, and the chippy at Sunny Sands, Prestatyn they're definitely worth a visit! Overall, we had an amazing time at Kerry Cottage and hope to return again soon. We highly recommend it. Thanks again to Lorna for making our stay so enjoyable!
