I've had a fantastic time here with my family celebrating my 70th birthday. Three generations aged from 5 years to 72. The house was beyond my expectations, large and roomy for all of us yet had a cosy welcoming feeling. We all fitted around the enormous dining table for our meals cooked in the kitchen which had everything we needed and more. Choosing who had which bedroom was easy as each one was outstanding. The owner responded to my few questions immediately, she is very friendly and helpful. She even brought a newborn lamb over for the children to see and cuddle. The games room was used every day along with the under cover hot tub, especially amazing during the evening when the lights are on and the moon is shining. The views are beautiful. I have never stayed in a property as clean as this, just immaculate and very well presented. I hope to return one day.

We loved our stay at Plas Lolyn. The house is perfect for a family get together. It was spacious but still cosy. Spotlessly clean and very comfy beds. Iona was always on hand if we needed anything. 4 of the bedrooms having an ensuite was a real bonus. What a wonderful house, with amazing views. Everything you could ever need, and spotlessly clean. Beds are really comfy too. Beautiful place to stay. We were a group Of 12 with age range 6 to 83 and there was plenty to keep us all happy and well looked after. Its a great location tucked away in beautiful countryside but also close to Betwsycoed and also Lake Bala. We did Snowdon and Cadir Idris plus a visit to the coast on Anglesey. Wish we could have stayed longer. Would thoroughly recommend Plas Iolyn to all and the kids are already asking to go back.

Superb property in a beautiful area. A party of 7 adults and 3 teenagers stayed here for a week in July 2024 we found that all our requirements were catered for. Plenty of inside and outside space made for an excellent holiday. The hot tub and the games room were well used. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms spotless with plenty of hot water. Loads to do in the area Snowdon obviously but also emountain biking in Betwsycoed, zip wiring, target sports at Llangollen. Excellent pub with food within easy walking distance. Iona could not have been more helpful providing any additional things we needed.

What a beautiful property! We had an amazing week at Plas Iolyn. The local area was fantastic for walks and we ventured into Betws Y Coed for a look around the shops. You dont need to leave the house however, it is so wellequipped. The games room and hot tub kept everyone entertained and the lawned area at the front of the property was perfect for outdoor games. The log burner in the second sitting room was a very toasty touch! The house itself was equipped with every single appliancepiece of kitchen equipment you could possibly want, Iona truly has thought of everything. It is finished to an incredibly high standard and was immaculately clean throughout. All of the guests commented on the lovely bedrooms and comfortable beds having linen and towels provided was helpful too. Iona left a beautiful Welsh hamper for us to enjoy which was a lovely touch. Had an amazing weekend at Plas Lolyn with family members with ages ranging from 7 months to 60 years. Scenery around the property is stunning. The property is finished to a very high standard, beds were so comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need. The owners live on site and are there if you need anything but leave you alone to enjoy your stay. One of our guests asked for an extension lead which was dropped off straight away. We had a wonderful week at Plas Iolyn. We are a family group of ten, with ages ranging from 8 to 75 and we were all very happy. The house was warm, spacious and peaceful it was beautifully furnished and the beds were wonderful.The large hot tub and games room were very popular. Iona, the owner, was very friendly and responded to our requests promptly. She even with the help of her children judged our annual pumpkin carving competition. The house is well placed for the many activities the area has to offer.

The house and rooms are so much bigger in real life than in the pictures. Every bathroom is finished to a high standard, it's a gorgeous house. The dining table is incredible for a large group of people and the games room is a great addition. Only feedback would be that we were only left with 2 dishwasher tablets which isn't enough for 12 people for 2 nights3days. We would have washed by hand but were left with only a tiny drop of already watered down washing up liquid.

This was an ideal family stay. There was plenty of room and with so many bathrooms, there were no queue worries. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and we loved using the hot tub and bbq. With the great views and peace we all had an amazing holiday!
