Well Farm Waterside Retreat sits in rural Dorset, just outside Wool village. This collection of wooden lodges offers stunning waterside views across a private fishing lake. The farm spans 15 acres of Dorset countryside with the River Frome running alongside. Fish directly from your deck or take walks along the riverbank. Private hot tubs come standard with most lodges - nothing beats sinking into bubbling water with a glass of wine after exploring the Jurassic Coast. And yes, skinny dipping is optional but not recommended when the ducks are watching!

Choose from six different lodge types. The Kingfisher and Heron sleep 4 in two bedrooms. Larger groups can book the Mallard or Swan (6 people, 3 bedrooms). For couples, the cozy Moorhen offers a romantic retreat. The Sandpiper provides luxury with a master suite and extra bathroom. All lodges feature fully-equipped kitchens, outdoor decking and those essential hot tubs.

We had an amazing stay here! The location is perfectand the hosts, Jenny and Ieuan, were super friendly and helpful. The cabin itself was cosy and well-maintainedand honestly, not having a TV was no problem at all - it actually added to the relaxing vibe. We loved using the hot tub every evening and grilling at the BBQ. Chester's just a short drive away, which is great for a quick night out. Definitely coming back soon, it was exactly what we needed!

We stayed here recently and found the place pretty decent. The fridge wasn't cooling properly, which was a bit annoyingand the TV took ages to get fully tuned in. Storage space might be tight for ladies, but overall, it's a cool spot and worth giving a go. It's maybe a tad pricey, but that's just how things are these days. Still, we'd consider coming back!

We had a lovely stay at this cosy spot on a big farm. The rooms are small but super comfyand the hot tub with good jets was a real highlight, especially on chilly March nights. We loved the location, perfect for exploring the areas we had in mind. Being dog-friendly was a big plus for us. The hut is brand newand we're sure it'll look even better as the gardens mature in spring and summer. Felt very secure with the electric gates on the owner's property. Underfloor heating was a real treatand the facilities were just right. Stayed three nights, which suited us perfectly. Jenny was super helpful throughout our stay. Will return!

We had a really nice stay in a lovely spot. The hosts were super friendly and quick to help with small issues. The place looked beautifully finished, though the tiny space could use a few tweaks. Sadly, the Wi-Fi and TV weren't available, despite being advertised, which was a bit of a let-down. We brought our dog, but it's probably better for just couples since it's not really dog-friendly. The fishing and hot tub were definite highlights, we'd come back for those!
