We really enjoyed our time at Waterside Retreat! The fishing was fantastic-caught carp, mirror carpand tench, which kept us busy. We stayed here recently and found the place pretty decent. The fridge wasn't cooling properly, which was a bit annoyingand the TV took ages to get fully tuned in. Storage space might be tight for ladies, but overall, it's a cool spot and worth giving a go. It's maybe a tad pricey, but that's just how things are these days. Still, we'd consider coming back!

The hut is brand newand we're sure it'll look even better as the gardens mature in spring and summer. Felt very secure with the electric gates on the owner's property. Underfloor heating was a real treatand the facilities were just right. Stayed three nights, which suited us perfectly. Jenny was super helpful throughout our stay. Will return!

Sadly, the Wi-Fi and TV weren't available, despite being advertised, which was a bit of a let-down. We brought our dog, but it's probably better for just couples since it's not really dog-friendly. The fishing and hot tub were definite highlights, we'd come back for those!
